I have two little plants, one three days and the other two, and Im leaving them under a 27w CFL bulb each. Last night I checked the plants about about 10:00 pm and they were looking great but this morning when I went to check on the one of the little sprouts had tipped and the other was drooping quite a bit. I have no camera to post pictures so hopefully Ive provided enough information. Thanks in advance for any help!

Whats the temp, how close is the light, what kind of soil, how much have you been watering? You may push soil around stem to help support it.

how far is ur lighting from ur plant????? bring em to about an inch from the plant and if its droopin real bad use something to hold that stem inplace.......

I dont know the temperature or the PH level.I think I might be watering the plants to much. Would this cause the plant to fall or droop? I'll bring the lights to about an inch but I don't think the plants are strong enough to move around yet...

I closely examined the plants and the stems and leaves are slightly purple.
I read that this could be a sign of over watering but im not sure.
Am I right about the under watering or is something else causing the purpling and droopiness of the plants?

the purple is usualy from overwatering. you should get a fan on em to strengthen the stems, i have a fan on mine before they even sprout. make sure they arent getting to hot, if you don't have a thermometer put your hand over the tops of your plant so the back of your hand is facing the light, hold it therefor a minute, if your hand is hotter than your balls.... i meen forehead....it's too hot for your plants.

I put a thermometer in and it registered 60 degrees F. It's the middle of winter and theres more then six feet of snow on the groud so the room is pretty cold.
I put a space heater in the sloset to warm the plant up.
Ill post the new tempertature shortly.

I think the purple could also be caused by low temp., seeing how you said its really cold with the snow and all, it would make since. someone tell him im wrong if I am! haha just tryin to help!
