Has anyone ever gotten a good yeild from using 5x23 watt cfl's?

maybe for 1 plant under 2 foot tall

I've gotten decent yields off 2 68 watt bulbs ( only a lil more wattage) about 2-2.5 off one plant. Heavily trained and in a 3 gal pot.

I don't know why people just don't invest in the right equipment. Doing it on a budget or not having what you need only brings problems.. use them lights for household and buy some lights that came from a grow shop and reccommended for what u want to do.

Sometimes you can't afford the proper setup, so ya have to do with what you can get till you can. Gives a good period to learn about growing before tossing in a bunch of cash too

My thoughts exactly. I growed 1 plant under cfls. But had a 400 watt mh\hps in mail before flowering was over.now i have 1000watt hps two 400. Mh 1 with switchable ballast..be surprised at deals on craigslist,amazon and ebay .rep zombie

Can get a 150w hps for real cheap. 80 bucks.
