Switch to cfl or t5 floresents for seedlings as a 600w would fry ur babies and also be overkill for something that small. Switch your light to 18-24 hours on to simulate veg and then switch to 12/12 when your ready to bloom
Hey all think i need a little help.
i planted my seedlings yesterday and put the light on for 12 hours 600w hps. i also put it about a metre high away from the seelings.
it had a dark period for 6 hours midnight - 0600.
i have kept the soil moist giving it a mist every 3/4 hours except for the night time.
just been to check on them now & out of 20 seeds about 3 of them have popped through they still have the seed casing on and look a little dry so i sprayed water around it not on it....
should i have the light on a 18/6 i have a fan pointing at it trying my best to keep it cool....
any additional info would help great thanks.

i have a 60w energy saver bulb? can i place this directly over the tray? it is a tray about 50cm x 20cm with about 3 inches deep would this be ok?
forgot to add my humidity is like 31% should i be using the dome above tray whilst light is on?
I set my clones about 3 feet to the side of 1000w in the veg room, that way they get weakened portion of light. Personally not a fan of domes, although some like them. I put a tray of water next to them and mist from a couple feet away if they start looking a bit sad.
Hey PR12
Keep the dome on even under the light. The fan also contributes to a lot of drying out. I wouldn't put a fan on it until its ready to come out of the humidity dome.. Try maintain a 80% humidity.
Roll, Roll, Roll your joint
Twist it at the end
Light it up, take take a puff
And pass it to your friends
