How long does it take for a seed to sprout in soil if germinated?

Shortest I have had is overnight and longest I have had is two days. It shouldnt take that long if you germinated it and saw the taproot.


*EDIT* I started germing some seeds on the 3 and planted them on the 5th and today they sprouted, so not toooo long, but it does seem like a long time. White Rhino PC Case Grow & More kinda boring thread right now since my rhinos are just taking off now

it depends on the strain of plant, temp, and soil conditions. in a fertile soil and keeping it evenly moist it can take anywhere from 3 to 14 days. most varieties will sprout within a week though

I was giving you my personal experience. He was giving you a general scenario that it COULD take up to that long. It has never taken ME more then two days for my plant to sprout.
