First Harvest Ever! Pics Inc

Hi guys,

Well its been along 4 and a half months but I finaly harvested my plants last night. It took me and my girlfriend 4 hours to chop and trim. Here are some pics of our effort:

The buds were alot bigger than I expected (I didnt notice the growth under the canopy haha!) and the pictures dont really do them justice. By the time I finished it was 4am and I couldn't be arsed to try and put them into perspective. My trim is in the brown paper bag and I put some popcorn buds and nuggets in the tray at the bottom of the picture. Hopefully I can smoke them soon!

It was my birthday at the time of the harvest and I was allowed to open a present for every plant I completed haha. If only I had that incentive for most things in life.

Im struggling to get my humidity below 60%, but I have plenty of airflow and ventalation so hopefully I wont get the dreaded mold.

I will update with pics when they have been manicured and put in jars for curing.

Thanks to all the people on this site who helped me get through the final part of my grow, its much appreciated.

Awsome work! Congrats to you both! What is the strain and what were they grown under?

Brother, my first harvest in 1999 was under 8 4' tube fluoro and totaled about 10 grams. The second, three months later, was about 20. People like you, harvesting like that for the first time make all the grow forums on the net worth it.

That's only a day off the plant or so. At 60% humidity, give them a week or so, lol.

Nice. How many plants and what kind of lighting did you use for flower?
I just harvest my first as well. It was only 1 LSTd little plant in an Aerogarden 3 but I got some nuggies on there. Nothing like those though. hehe good job.

Thanks guys,

I grew 3 plants. 2 x Pineapple Chunk and 1 x Northern Lights x Big Bud

I grew in Bio Canna Terra soil in 10ltr airpots. I used the full Bio Canna range: Rhizo, Vega, Flora and Boost.

I vegged under one 150watt blue cfl then added another 125watt blue later. For flower I used 3 x 125watt Red CFL's.

I only harvested them 15 hrs ago so theirs no point weighing them yet. The buds are huge and theirs plenty of them I definately have atleast 2 ounces just by looking at the amount I have, but it could be alot more. I carnt believe how much I've got for my first attempt ever! I know I can do better just with 2 plants nxt time considering I fucked up so many times along the way.
