Tail down, although nature finds a way, give them a few days after planting to get their bearings.
everything and see how its all going and found nothing, now im on day 5 of no sprouting, so i figured hell ill dig em up, get more seeds and restart. Well i found my seeds germinated in the dirt as soon as i started digging, so i grabbed a few red solo cups, labeled them and threw my germinated seeds in them. i guess my question is, TAILS up or TAILS down? lol. thanks yall

keep the soil moist but no soaked.
yea gravity and nature will take care of it .. just dont plant them to deep (½ a inch or so) they will find ther way up ..
Take my advice !! ... I dont use it anyway ...

Yes plant them, give them a chance. Dont plant them deep and do not pack the soil in. water them but not too much. They should come up, good luck
just use a spray bottle to water them at this point.
Day Bow Bow, Chic...chicka chickahhhh
i thought a spray bottle would work best as well
i always germinate my seeds in paper towels before inserting them into my grow medium (soil rockwool ect ect) after your seegs have fully germinated be sure to insert them into the soil with the taproot pointing DOWN. these little babies dont have much stored energy and if the taproot is pointing any other way its gonna have to expell that energy in turning its root into a downward position. not saying that it wont still sprout but it lowers your chances of the seed sprouting thats for sure. follow these methods and its fool proof. also i have had some seeds take up to a week to sprout, some only a few hours it all just depens on the individual. i have had these results using the exact same seed strain at the exact same time under exact same conditions. dont give up bro its too early for all that.
I used to use the paper towel method & after they would split I'd meticulously tweeze them into their individual measured holes tails down.
Lately I soak them for 24 hours in a cup of water & just drop them in the dirt, and guess what? I've not seen any difference in germ rates.
Take away lesson: Cannabis is a very virulent plant that does not need to be babied nearly as much as we think.
