this is lame. i have just abouth te same problem. only read my thread. ive taken exactly the opposing actions as you. what size is your con tainer? mine started to curl down and uickly found that my soil was to wet. i have it in a 5 gal bucket. i transplanted it, watered it , then feed it the next night. after morning of feed the curling was worse. so ive been told to let the soil run pretty much completely dry and to water it real well when you start to see that its dying or when the soil is dry.
so yes
1 of many things ive found.
1. soil is to moist, roots not getting enough air(leaf tips down)
2. too many nutrients.(soil has nutes) ive been told to alternate water feed water feed by the day.
3. rhs too low and or heat stress (leaf edges flipping up)
Please post pics when asking for help. It will allow us to give more accurate advice. Based on ur description... U may have a little heat issues. Specially with 3 1000 watt lights on your girl. How far are your lights and How long are u watering for?

I will put pics up as soon as I can figure out how to or tonight when my roomate gets home. I am usuing the hand technique but the light are about a foot above the plants. Im in hydroton ( bucket system, watering is on a timer, goes for 15 min. Is that to long? I have about 19 plans, It takes prob 5 min to fill. Also am on 18-6 schedule.
I havent seen your thread but Im not in soil, im using hydroton or clay balls, with the flood and drain buckets. Im not sure what it is

here are the pics of what they look like please help me.
My long-shot take on this is not overwatering, but a closely-related complaint: roots suffocating. An airstone in each bucket should help if this is correct. cn

I have to 12" air stones in my resevoir which holds 30 gallons, Do you think they are in water to long? Its on a timer, 15 min, but it takes about 5 to fill. I actually picked up one bucket and the roots were already thru the bottom of it. Should I lowere the water level where the fill line is at?
and what is root suffocating? like its in water to long?
