should I use small LED light panels with a 150 watt hps?

I am thinking of getting a small grow tent. I will be using a 150 watt HPS for light. I am using soil and going to grow seed 12/12 from start to finish. I was curious if I could add some small LED panels on the side of my tent for extra light? They are just small 14 watt panels. If so and if its a ok idea. what color would I use, all blue, all red or the mix? would it be worth it or not? any help or comments would be great

well not much really. I am keeping it simple. I seen all blue, all red and mixed led panels on ebay. they are 14 watts and cost about 20 to 30 bucks with free shipping. I thought they might work for good side lighting.

That's too many LEDs for too few watts. Dumbed down you want as many watts/light coming out of as few LEDs as possible. Try to focus on units that use 1w or higher powered diodes.

Are you at all handy? For pretty cheap you can build your own white LEDs grow light.

oh ok. so just stay with the hps light then. so what else can I use for side light. I have grown with CFLs but I wanna get away from that.

my grow tent is small. 32x32x60inches. I am using a 150 watt hps because of how small the tent is and the heat issues. I would go 250 watt hps but I think the heat would be too much. I am planning on growing 2 plants from 12/12
