Take a Look at my new Grow Tent/setup

as I wrote in the other thread aswell ..

make sure your tubeings are as strait and short as possible .. with no bends .. will make your air flow much better ..

also .. if you can make a string of tubeings from the out side to the passiv intake you can provide your girls with fresh air/co2 ..
and it might also help a bit on your heat problems ?

so what your saying is i should cut the tubing a little from the cooltube to the inline fan sense thats the once with most tubing and that to also make tubing from the intake of the fan going to outside ??

erm ... what Im saying .. is that the shorter the tubeing is the more effectiv will your ventilation fan be and the less bends the more freely it can pull air out ..

so no bends and a short line ..

no need to have 3 feet that realy is`t nesseary hanging ther and being in the way maybe ..

tho make it long enough so you can make a nice soft bend up to your out/intake ..

no biggy .... was just looking for stuff to point out

also what I was saying .. if you have access to the outside (your out take blow it out of a window it look like ?)
you could add you intake tubeings so you pull fresh air directly from the outside ..

get that coarbon filter out mate u loose 20% efficiany (cooling) u dont need that till late flowering

and did u get dual spec hps bulb for flower or what?? i take it not if ur using mh for veg and hps for flower,,,,switchable blaast i take it?

Alright I get what ur saying now about the tubing. Im going to cut it shorter tonight. And maybe run the extra tubing out side the window so it can get directly fresh air from outside the window. And as far as the carbon filter do I have to have it out for veg? Cause it was a pain in my ass to hang that heavy ads filter by myself. But as far as that everything else looks good? And ya I got a converter for the mh and hps lighting.

nahh just leave it ..

ther will also be a littel smell in Veg .. specialy when they get bigger ..

only if you experiance heat problems .. then it might be a solution .. carbon filter do take about 20% of the sug of your ventilation ..

so I guess what he meant is if you have problems with temps. you could remove it to get even more air flow .. as it realy dont do much right now as I dont expect you got much smell ..

also remember .. carbon filters last a year roughly ..

then you eaither need to switch it to a new or buy some activ carbon and empty the old out and fill in new ..

so if you runn it wile thers is`t any need you will use it up on sumthing that dont do you any good .. up to you ..

you could just remove the tube from the filter and let it hang loose in ther .. so its ready to connect agin when you begin to smell em ..



but look nice .. only minor stuff you can correct along the way ..

but if it is`t a problem to take fresh air in from the out side I would for sure go for it (I have a tube from my passiv intake over my window to my intake in my grow room .. make temps drop a few more and provide fresh air and co2 for my girls .. Im sure they love it insted of my stall air in my appartment ..

ya deff going to do that tonight. but i see what ur saying about the carbon filter. i bought it from htg supply so i think i have a 2 yr warranty on it. but ill choose what to do while i go along with veggin. Question iv been watching alot of videos of grow tent and the intake fan n filter. alot of ppl do it the way i am with the inner fan outside the tent blowing air in threw the tube hitting the light then traveling to the filter. THen alot of other ppl have it all in the tent with the filter then fan to the lights then blowing the rest of the air outside the tent? does it matter which way u do this. is the way im going abouts this fine or should i switch it up to where its all inside the tent blowing the air outside the tent.??

it dont matter if the fan is after your light "pulling" air or before it "pushing" air threw. Inlines can be hooked up either way. definitely try and minimize the bends in your tubing tho. you can lose 5 to 10% efficiency with each 90 degree bend. you also lose effiency the longer your tube gets not to mention the carbon filter takes 20% away as mentioned earlier. straight and short as possible is what you after. looking good tho...
