Default my plants are different sizes at same age. whats wrong?

All were planted 6/03 after germination. Madness looks good imo but white widow is small along with la diva auto. Im using a 4x4 tent with soil, 1000w hps and a 300w led. temp is held around a steady 78°. there are a lot of lower leaves that just arent gowing. is it natural or an error on my part? 24/0 cycle.

one's roots grew slower, be it by difference in soil quality, or nutrients, or other conditions

or roots are stunted due to compacted soil

seeds don't represent identical twins. Each plant has its own set of genetics inherited from the parents.

plants looking like they may be having ph issues, are u giving nutes? all ur plants look to have nute issues, maybe coming from pH being off and cant absorb nutes..

you should be less concerned of height and more concerned of healthy looking leaves

as said before no 2 seed are the same, this is why breeders grow 100s to 1000s of the same seeds crossed to find the BEST phenotypes because just like all humans are different with different DNA, so are plants... No matter how good looking your parents are, they will still give birth to some ugly ass babies sometime, as it is with plants.

but i can bet money that your height differences are greatly due to nute and ph issues.

    good luch

just wanna point out that this clearly isn't a case of genetic difference

check ph. if its good, and your feeding it right, and soil is ok, then stop worrying. at this point it doesnt even matter. just be happy they sprouted and havent died yet.

later on, if one gets taller then the others, top it. and repeat til they are all about half the size you want the finished plant to be and that day start flowering.
if your inside, topping and tying them will give you more efficient use of space. you got time to read up on that though

and your using a 1000w+`in a 4x4 tent? thats pretty sweet dude. only thing i would do differently too is put them on 20/4 cycle. those 4 hours off will save ya some on your electric bill, and increase the stretch just enough so your plants dont look like broccoli in the beginning (see pic 1). it also helps keep the temps down, a lot, and gives you time to test out a new timer, or whatever.
