1 Oz /Week possible in limited space?

I don't think its possible to produce an oz per week in a 2.5 x 1.5 ft box. Thats only .33 of a square meter. Even if you could produce 500g per square meter (which is very high) every 14 weeks thats still only just over 10g's per week.

Just doing some simple math it's impossible no matter which way you look at it.

Maybe if you were very experienced and set up a genius vertical grow system you might have a chance.

Wait, that's an ounce a week of dealer weed, right? I promise, what you grow your own will be orders of magnitude better. You won't need to consume that much, I bet.

Otherwise, I totally agree with Kush on the possibility of an ounce per week from that space.

Only way to even come remotely close to the production is to have HID lighting, which would make that small of a space in the right temps extremely hard. Also to get 1 oz a week on perpetual, you would need like 1 plant being harvested a weel. Even switching to 12/12 from seed, you would need like 9 or 10 plants in 1 gallon containers (minimum and more realistically 2 gal pots) to get 9-10 oz from that grow. You just dont have the space.

With that type of budget, I would look into a tent if you could find a place to put one.

Smokinrav, I hear what you are saying about the quality of weed being a factor in the quantity needed, but we will have to keep some headroom. Friends and lovers we cannot deny...

My partner in this runs a catering business/huge commercial kitchen. We are going to try and fit it in there somewhere. Thing is, no matter where we grow, it has to be completely private. So a tent is eliminated. Maybe a huge closet (with a lock) in one of his store rooms...

So let me approach this from a different angle... what would be the most efficient way of growing enough to produce 1 oz/week? The quality of weed is, at this time, secondary, as long as it is reasonably potent. We can raise our standards, one step at a time. Many small plants? A couple of big plants? Hydroponics? SOG? I need direction for more research...

I knew a dude that grew weed at his work place. hmm he got fired. I wonder why.

My friend owns the property and the business. Nobody is going to fire him.

52 ounces a year is not that much in indoor growing terms, not quite a couple of pounds. You as a beginner can easily do that with a 400 HPS. I've maxed out my 400 HPS at 4-5 pounds a year using an average yielding strain, but I know what I'm doing. You as a beginner should be able to yield half that in your first year, probably a lot more.

This space, about 250 sqf, is my first perpetual harvest. I yielded almost a QP every 21 days or so using LST supercropping, the way the plants are grown in the last two pics. Tied up and bushy are the bast way to grow plants under a light the size of a 400 HPS and smaller.

The second pic is the flower room in the first pic, in back on the right. Three of those plants were ready every three weeks, then I would rotate another three in from the central growspace in the first pic. The left side was where my mother and cloning was done.
