Ready to clone/trim???? How old must they be before cutting?
Attempted searching trying to find the right age, or certain age of the plant where clones are able to be cut..
All I could find were how-to videos.
Please help me out, thanks!

Well even if it's a small branch, as long as it grows... right? I am pretty new to this. Just wanting to start regrowing asap.

yeah the 1st clone I ever took from a plant was only like 1" long it doesnt matter size, some ppl just dont wanna take a small clone cause once it roots they can put it to 12/12 and flower it right away, but if its small like that u need to veg it for a while to get any yield from it. Yeah 12" is damn long average I'd say if u wanna root it then flower it u want sumptin between 4-8" otherwise it needs a veg cycle.

I was planning on taking clones and growing them under cfls.
The plants are currently under 400w metal halide, will switch to the other type for flowering (forgot what the type of bulb was called)
Will begin flowering after clones are taken, if that's okay right after.
Would it be worth using cfls for vegetative then over the the 400w for flower?

You can get clones off those girls, if you want. But if you have room to grow a 3' plant in flower then I'd top those and veg for a couple more wks. It will increase your yield. But if height is an issue then take clones and start your flower cycle.
Yes a cfl will be fine for veg, especially since they will have to veg for your full flower cycle before their chance under the big lamp. So depending upon your size limitations you don't want your veg plants to outsize your flower area.
If You Don't Want It Printed Don't Let It Happen!!

i like larger clones because i get stronger plants from them. i also veg for 30-35 days then flower. so i have nice thick trunks and healthy plants that can hold their weight.

..Hope to get a reply...
I would want to take clones, veg the mothers for a little while longer just to get the clones going a bit before i switch the mothers to flower.
I only have one other major question..
I have no idea what branches i could cut, i really don't want to mess up how good the plants are growing, also don't want to take off any future major branches..
That is my last worry, hope someone will reply....
