Week 8 of flowering and bottom buds small
Hi there this is my first post so forgive any mistakes with regards to posting etiquette. I have five plants in flower,one northern light and four afghan lush. There in a grow tent temp a pretty stable 24c and ph level at. 6.5. I've grown them in coco fibre and nutes used have been coco canna A & B. I've had no problems upto the last couple of weeks where I've noticed the top buds are looking delicious but the rest are really small, I can't understand why this is. I've been adviced to flush now and harvest as the leaves are starting to wither but I'm wondering if I could get away with another couple of weeks just to fatten the rest of the buds up. Incidentally this is my first grow. all advice would be gratefully received.

All i can see is white box with a red X. My guess is lack of lighting giving lots of popcorn.
sounds to me that your lights arent adequate you need to have enough light to penetrate to the bottom buds and make them strong.
i think you did not prune your plants to produce the heavier buds up top and hense you're getting popcorn down below. don't despair because all those tricomes can be used to make kief. they have value. just not as marketable buds. don't throw them away. and try an LST or supercrop next time for better results.

Probably sounds naive but do i just cut off the top buds and leave the plant for a couple of weeks?
And at what point do i know the top buds are ready? Thanks for all the input
