I need help with my marijuana plant, its 2 wks in, on the 4th leaf set, and the internodes are growing to close apart, I did have a zinc def, u could tell because of the light green color surrounding the leaves, I fixed that, but now the internodes are growing too close and the leaves are getting bunched together, do I need to repot the plant? I don't see roots growing out the drainage holes im soo confused please help!cry:

could be a runt,,,what kinda light you using?how close is it to ya plants,whats the temp and humidity like in ya grow room?a pic would be good.peace

Tough to say without pictures, but I've never heard of nodes being too close together. Get it as bushy as you can in early veg. growth. It will stretch. Sometimes the first couple of weeks of flowering are when you see the most stretching.

If you really think it's too bushy for any light penetration, then maybe you could groom the lower fan leaves after it gets a little older.

wow you guys replied quick thanks soo far, ill borrow a digital camera, in a couple hours, so subscribe to this thread for help, yea i don't know if its actually a problem, but im alil nervous, the temp is 78 degrees, and im using 1 150w cfl warm, and 1 26w cfl warm, and 2 23w cfls daylight, its working great im gonna lst train later to get the most but for little light i have im confident in my lighting even tho its not alot, and i have a fan iscolating the air in and out and the closet door is open most the time.

im a noob at this thing, i just joined im gonna need alil time to figure out how to put a pic on the thread.

close nodes are a good thing y would that be bad. Imagine when it bud each node is a nug( sort of) or will make one big bud

let me get this straight, um.. the leaf sets are growing close together, and the stem thats growing for them is really short on each leaf set thats good? I love the replys, but im gonna take some pics later, and you guys can be the judge.

my opinion is the closer the node the thicker the buds lay on the plant.maybe I'm wrong. How tall is she?

how did you know it was zinc not just low nitro?
