HPS for seedlings?

    Default HPS for seedlings?

    I just busted my last 42w CFL that i normally use to veg seedlings with now all i have left is my 150w HPS.

    Is it ok to toss them under that or will they fry?

    If its cool, how far should i keep them from the light?

    HPS are ok for seedlings id say put them about 4 feet away from the light.

    Keep it a foot or three away, should be fine. They will enjoy the increased intensity over CFL.

    very nice. for 2 years now i have been huddling up 3 seedlings at a time ( im good with 1 female at a time, never got 2 or 3 out of 3 yet ) under a single 42w cfl for 1 month.

    its pretty funny but it actually works.
