Well, I started growing 10 plants from seed... first time grow.

A little over 2 months into it, 8 have survived, one showed to be male and two have shown to be female. The other 5 are not yet showing sex. They have been on 12/12 for 2 weeks now.

I was wondering WHEN do you take cuts from a plant to make clones? I see a lot here about how to plant/grow/take care of the clone clippings, but I cant seem to find out WHEN the clone clippings are supposed to be taken from the mother. I dont want to grow from seed again, but would rather grow all clones from the plants I have now that show to be female.

Of course, the plant has to be in flowering in order to tell that its female. Now that I know its female I dont know if I cut clones from it now or wait or what?

Below is a picture of this bad ass mother. Its a CFL closet grow... about 2ft tall now and a little over 2 months old.

Any help is appreciated.

as soon as you have a couple nodes on a lower branch you can clip that off and root it.

Will I be getting a good yield from this plant or do I have to wait for my clones from this plant to mature?

How do I keep this plant in a stage to keep getting clones from it, like keeping it as the "mother" plant?

cutting off the lower limbs for clones won't hurt the yield much at all. prob lose a Q or two max.

if you don't want it to bud keep the light on more than 13 hours a day and it will just veg.
