    I understand that I need to get a ph meter but my plants are in soil. Do I had nutes to the water and check it and then water my plants and then check the soil or what? I'm not really sure. I think I will just go all hydro

    If you are a newbie soil is the easiest and most forgiving way to go. Add you nutes to the water then ph check. Ph check your runoff.

    So I add nutes to the water and check the ph. Then I water the plant. I don't have to check the ph of the soil?
