What do you mean by "good results"?

Its possible to grow "a" plant to maturity in a space under 18 inches tall.
In fact, its probably possible to grow "a" plant in a space 12 inches tall.

The problem, of course, is that small plant = small yield. If you're happy waiting 3 months to get a few small buds, then this kind of "nano"growing could work.

Also, growing what amounts to bonsai cannabis plants is actually harder than normal sized ones since you have to make allowances for short pots, training, and post-flowering stretch.

Believe it or not, growing super small plants is more of an "expert" level task, than a novice one.
