forums; okay where im growing there is lots of grey clay so i cant plant in it and the ground stays ...

    Default grow spot soil

    okay where im growing there is lots of grey clay so i cant plant in it and the ground stays wet could i dig out a hole and fill with promix and do it in the ground that way or would the extra water harm my girls

    Don't leave em in the clay. The roots won't like it. There's very little oxygenation and drainage in earth like that and that's stuff your roots need. So, yeah, dig a big ass hole/s and fill it with some good soil and plant away.

    kool thats what im gonna do would a hole about he size of a five gallon bucket be good not looking for huge plants

    No doubt. That'd be a perfect size hole IMO if you didn't want a tree.

    dig the hole and before you add your dirt make sure it doesn't fill up with water

    You could fit two plants in, but you'd probably end up with the same amount at harvest time as if you had just put in one. 10 gal container will probably get pretty rootbound all by itself by the end of the season.

    I'd be pretty cautious about that hole with the wetness; you should probably add some small gravel to your dirt mix, and try to make a hill out of the planting hole .
