tepee of lights

First grow here I’m sure this is the first of many questions. I have NL fem seeds coming from Nirvana. Very excited to try and grow some great product. Only care about getting enough for my ocassional use however will not mind a surplus. My plan is to grow one maybe two at a time and veg under flourecents and then 400w hps for flower. Here is my question. I am planning on vegging in 3 gal pots under 24” t12 daylights 6500k. I wanna do 6 of them for a total of 120w. I was thinking about laying them all flat and sticking them over the pot. However I was wondering if there where any benefits of kinda making a tepee out of the fixtures so that the plants have 360 lights withh the majority of it would be from the top but would be plenty of side lighting. Does anyone see any benefit or problems with going this route?
