Is it wrong that I know why my old growth leaves are turning yellow and I'm not freaking out?

The plan is to repot from 2.5 gal to 5 gal pots. I'll try for some before and after picks.
Then veg and LST 2 more weeks before switching to HPS and 12/12 for flower.

My first attempt. I got some bone meal (100% organic) with 3% N and 8-10% P. I have no idea how much to feed or how to. Do i just throw em on the top of the soil or mix em with the soil(without damaging any roots).

I would put it on top and water it in.. I think its to late to mix into the soil
