We have started plants from seeds. Now, they are approx. 4 inchs tall and on the 3rd layers of leaves. We've had them planted now for 3 weeks and they are under flor. 24/7. we are accustom to starting with clones so this proccess of starting from a seed is all new to us.
Now our (my hubby and I) question is when is the best time to sex our babies? Simple as that.....any help would be greatly appreciated

trees reach there natural maturity level around one month into veg. you can veg longer if you want but you will not lose and thc content when you flower after one month. if you flower earlier than a month, you lose thc producing abilities. your trees will be around 6" tall if you flower after a month. what are you planning to flower with; lights, nutes, light schedule, etc...? gl on your grow. Thank you very much for your info....hubby say's your the only one giving us a straight answer. We will be putting them under 1000 watts. I'm trying to upload pictures I just took but having a hard time converting them into JPEG....I would like some input after you see the pics. we have variable sizes (from seads) Will it hurt the youngens if there done early???

not too sure that I understand the question. will it hurt the younger plants if the older ones are done before them? or if you pull them early?

They will show pre-flowers 6-8weeks or so into veg, most people flower earlier than that. so they usually show in 1-2weeks when you set your light schdule to 12/12.

Are you talking buddy here or "sexing"? These are started from seed and are 3 weeks old.....did my picture upload???? HELP! Hate to sound ike an idiot here!!!

I see them in your gallery..

they look a bit stretched and light deprived, you might want to think of a fan to strengthen those stems, and a transplant into a bigger pot, but when you do, bury it deep and cover up that stem. Think about getting some CFL's and keeping those plants all the way up to those tubes
