CleaverJiggy grow

Allright, we're going to journal these bitches.

This is our first grow, the first few weeks were a little touch and go...I was freaking out over our plants and posting every other minute with questions, but I think they are on their way to success.

Strains: 2x purple wreak, 1x cheese, 1x bagseed

The setup: We probably spent way to much for our first grow...but this is something we have been wanting to do for a while, and not just do, but do well and make it worth our time and effort. We had the money, so even if we totally fuck up the first grow, we'll learn from it and there will always be another.

The stuff:
4'L x 3'W x 7'H growlab tent
600w mh/hps light w/cooltube
155cfm fan/carbon filter combo
2 circulating fans
FF ocean forest
FF nute trio

The ladies: Jane Dangerously, SuckMyTaintGurl, SpongeBeth and The Stranger

SuckMyTaintGurl is recovering from our first blunder...we followed the directions on the FF nutes @ 1/4 strength and she got burned, but is recovering slowly.

All together:

Me and JiggyPop will be posting updates as these babies grow. Hopefully it goes well, wish us luck! :leaf:

We are in the middle of week 3 veg. Here is an update:

Day 29: We have come to a revalation! After weeks of study and testing, we have determined that it is incredibly difficult to type with a blunt in your hand....you are welcome roll it up.

2012-04-20 17.49.30.jpg

They are coming along nicely. Even the little purple wreak we nute burned in the beginning has come back, maybe a little smaller than the rest, but shes catching up.

I think at this point no matter what our cheese and mystery plant(we think its shark) will out grow the two purple wreak and we will have to flower them small anyway.

Our plan is to start feeding them all nutes with the next watering, which is scheduled for Monday.

We are a little concerned about a spot that has appeared on one f our purple wreak plants (not the one that was burned, the other one)

Purple Wreak Jane Danger2.jpg

Jiggy thinks it could be a deficiency, but neither of us have any experience growing anything. If it is a deficiency, I guess that's ok since we will be feeding them all on Monday. None of the other plants have spots like this, the spot is only on one leaf and it is not a new growth leaf either.

Anyone have any insight on this one? If it's not a deficiency...what is it? These babies have had nothing but water for weeks.

So...our bag seed (aka the stranger) is an auto flower.

I am sad because I don't think we have any other option but to kill it. Our other three plants aren't ready to flower yet and we don't have another light or grow space to move the any of the plants to.

The good news is I am pretty sure its a female, good practice I guess. Even though all of our other plants are from fem seeds, some of the seeds we have left are not.

lol, I was kind of wondering why it already stunk like weed in that closet. Makes sense now.

Suspicion confirmed, it was shark.

Well...we won't kill it...but I'm pretty sure it will kill itself trying to flower under that much light. /flowercide

They're looking pretty good, we just transplanted them to their final containers yesterday.

We're 6 weeks into veg, the bagseed autoflower has been doing her thing for about 2 weeks now. Looks like we might get some home grown bud a little earlier than expected. :-D Go girl go!

The plan is to let the others veg for another 2-3 weeks and then put them on 12/12. Kinda sucks for the autoflower...I wonder how much the decreased light will affect it...we'll see.

Yeah. Since we had the ruler out last night, we decided to measure how much further we had until the hood...a little over 3 feet. So we are going to let them get to about a foot and a half, and then throw them into flower. So if some of the strains triple in size, we will have enough room.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Our auto flower is a hermie. So that plant was just full of surprises...yay bagseed.

Other three are looking great though. We'll post an update with pictures soon.

Dang! sucks bro. Unless it was me, Im looking to mess around with breeding. I get sick and tired of people saying to leave it to the pro's but then how can you learn to make really strains unless you try?? My two cents

Yeah. I wouldn't want to breed this one. It is a auto. I am trying to really work my strains, however, the auto did work cool. Lots of fun.

The deed is done. She had alot more male flowers than we thought...so I really hope we got him-her out of there before things got frisky.

Basically, here is where we are:
The good news is, we have 3 plants going.
The first one is the Cheese...doing very well, and growing fast.

These are two plants of Purple Wreck. Both are doing well.

I am thinking about going 12/12 by the end of the week.

This here is the aftermath of the auto shark. It was a he she.

Basically, she was looking good, real good, and then this happened.

We already started 4 more seeds for the next grow. 2 Barney Farms LSD. 1 DinaFem Silver. And another strain I forgot the name of. Most of these came as bonuses in a Attitude order. This picture is a day old, but when I checked on them this morning, I had 4 seedlings. Good score. Paper towel germination method works again.

Wow...nothing like coming home to someone stealing your thunder with an inferior post containing misinformation. for Jiggy.

The next round is:

1 Barney's Farm LSD
1 Cali Connection Budha Tahoe
1 DinaFem White Widow
1 Paradise Seeds Delahaze

We are working on the setup for our clone room this week. Other than that we're switching the lights this weekend.
