Default pot sizes....??
im goin to need to move my plants to bigger pots in the next week or so as there are allready roots showing out of the drain holes

can some one please help me out with the pot size what i mean is i know i need a 3-5G pot but what size is it ? ie 12in (H) 12in (W) < you get it...

as haveing looked about i have found some but they dont have the size or volume it holds

Also as i cant get any pots for a week should i let the roots cary on growing out the bottom of the pot or should i cut them off..?

10 inches high by 10 inches wide round pot is about 3 US gallons. 12 inches by 12 inches is about a 5 US gallon pot.

Just leave the roots for the moment, don't chop them off.

When you transplant, trim the bottom roots and cut roots verticaly all around the root ball with a razor. Then transplant. The roots will continue to grow.

thanks babygro now i know what size to look out for and i be leaveing the roots for now
