To get back to the main argument in the thread, Do I use 24hr MH light on my plants or should I run 18-6 or 20-4. I understand that plants resperate based on day night cycles but again, i dont know how weed should be living. Again, this is Veg only.

I always run my clone and veg lights at 24 hours on.I find it grows faster has more compact plants and I dont get any hermies from it.I only usually veg for 10 days in aero but I dont like to veg plants bigger then 14 inches tall.

my plant is starting to bud in only six weeks should i leave my lights on 24/7

Actually, Nathst8, as written above there are only 3 possibilities. 1. It's not flowering but maybe sex showing or even less, new leafs sites. 2. You have autoflowering (God i wish i had some) in which case you'll have your buds in 45 days no matter what you do and 3. You've messed up badly with lights (long power breakdowns, hiding from unexpected visitors or other many reasons for which the plants had a few more darkness hours than you wished for)... but very unlikely as switching from vegging to flowering might take up to 2 weeks of quite a rigorous dark period. Hopefully is no. 2, but most likely is no. 1.
