1st "real" grow.. Advise from experienced ppl appreciated

Aight rollitup.. I fuks wit y'all so I'm just gonna take all the views to this thread & no comments as y'all way of saying ur nit interested until I post pics, so don't worry pics will be up by tonight. But a few things have changed since I began this thread so let me catch all of u up....


1st my 1st order I was so paranoid about , I actually made an error with one digit of my address and I had my order of special queen #1 and diamond line madness returned back to the attitude. When I tracked my order It said this on USPS web site (returned to sender due to invalid address) I kno, I'm a dumbass lol.. But whatever.. I orderd some more, this time white widow from pyramid seeds, got cotton candy from delicious seeds as freebie & I ordered an afghan kush from world of seeds & got green love potion from samsara seeds as freebie.. This time I made sure I made no dumb mistakes!! And what do u kno?? A dude from da hood got his beans!!! All feminized btw.. Me & my homeboys always joke and say white boys got da best bud.. Well not for long lol.. & before y'all get me confused I'm not on no racist stuff, just trying to step my bud game up to da white ppl level lol

So far plants have been in veg from seed since march 9, how long should I veg to get atleast 1oz per plant.. & btw the afghan kush never germinated so afghan kush is now considered a profanity in my book and so is world of seeds.. I would prefer to never hear of this strain or breeder again lol

Damn dude, I am sorry no one has responded to your posts. I am in a similar situation as you; I grew some pretty awful pot about 10 years ago and quit because I was so frustrated and unsuccessful. Now I have some money to invest and do things proper and my results are already speaking for themselves. Yes, I have run into a couple issues here and there but now that I have knowledge, and RIU, I am fixing the issues as the come up and not letting them get any worse.

As for your strains, I am not familiar with any of them but thats not 100% critical when helping another person out. I think strain really matters when you are trying to maximize your yield and get every single bit of bud that you can get out of your plants. Of course things like whether the strain is Indica or Sativa will require different space requirments because of their different heights.

How tall are your plants that are in veg? How much height do you have to work with in your grow room? What nutrients are you using? What is your setup? Hydro, soil?

To answer how many plants you should have under a 400 watt light, I would say no more than 6 but it really depends on how you grow them. SCRoG? SoG?

Are you asking if you can flower both your clones and your mother plant at the same time? Are you planning on cycling new mother plants? Otherwise you should keep your mom around for a while so you can keep taking clones off of her.

If you have a big space, you should think of setting up 3 sections, one for mother plants/clones, one for veg, and one for flower. That way you can harvest every month!

Sims your gonna be ghetto fab when you get your plants all flowered out. The reason people put the 400 watt lights in the closet is because they cant cover a wide area of plants your light is only good for a 3x3 foot space and thats a closet pretty much under your light you should be able to fit 4 descent size plants. when your seedlings pop the soil and get two or three sets of leaves veg them for another 2-3 weeks under 24 to 18 hrs of light then switch to 12-12 this way your plants wont get too big for the 400 hps

Also i know you dont wanna hear this sims but i have never had a problem with world of seeds i got afghan kush cross with black domina (black Afy) that looks amazing in flower like with all seed companies and seeds your gonna have a few duds and a few phenos that arent as good as others also with your question on the mother and the clones the whole point of having a mother is to take the clones from you dont flower out your mother until she gets old or something you keep her to take kids from. but if you wanted to take clones and flower your mother you can go ahead and do that but i think you should just get the hang of the growing before you start to try the cloning thing
