1st "real" grow.. Advise from experienced ppl appreciated

Tried to respond before but idk what happened , anyway... Berkman good lookin!! I appreciate u being the first 1 to cone & show me some love & give me good advise which is greatly appreciated, now to reply to ur questions.. I have a 7 foot ceiling but I'm not worried about that cuz I don't have the patience to let em grow that big anyway.. I was hoping I could get away with another 2-3 weeks before flower maybe?? I wanna pull an oz per plant minimum.. So if I have to veg longer I don't wanna but I will.. & I also forgot to mention that my house is being renovated so the space I'm in is only temporary ..right now I just have a corner panda filmed off not 100% light proof , but close.. I'd say like 96% if that makes any sence.. But I'll eventually have an entire room, not a huge one , but a room none the less.. & I'll have all 4 walls covered in Mylar ( hopefully this will be ready in another 2 weeks, was supposed to be done a month ago tho so idk)

& to Montana ... The afghan kush got me pissed. Every YouTube grow video I see with afghan kush I can't help but suck my teeth, everytime I see my 3 girls sittin there , I can't help but to think the afghan kush should b there right next to em .. & world of seeds is the only breeder that I had actually heard of before I ordered.. So if anything, I thought it would be the best.. But I guess I'll never know.. & idk if u seen my pics I just uploaded but my white widow doesn't look like any white widow I've ever seen.. It's extremely indica.. And the shortest of the 3.. It's like 3 & a half inches.. The green love potion is 4 inches & the cotton candy is about 7 & a half inches

Sounds like you are just like the rest of us, you wanna get those little fuckers to flower as quickly as possible. I have found the growing process is very good for teaching patience and is very Zen-like if you let it be.

So you want about an ounce per plant, that is definitely doable with 3 plants under a 400 watt lamp. I would flip them to veg when they are around 12 inches high, that will give you approximately 3 foot plants when you are ready for harvest. General rule of thumb is 2/3 growth after flipping to flower, but that can vary according to strain.

As for your area not being 100% light proof, this is very, very important when you flip to flowering. You will want to make sure can you get it as light proof as you can, because any light during the dark periods will fuck things up.

I see your plants seem to be curling or 'tacoing', how close is your light to the plants? Also, they seem to be a little plastic looking, what type and how strong of nutrients are you using? Either way they are looking decent so don't get discouraged or frustrated, we all have issues to deal with when learning to grow. I think you will be hard pressed to find anyone that gets it completely right every time and doesn't ever have issues, that motherfucker is a liar!

Oh & btw .. I do understand the whole concept of the mother /clones.. & I know I should keep the mother Alive to take cuttings but I just can't make up my mind right now, one day I wanna do the right thing and save the mothers and flower the clones .. But the next day I think that's gonna take to long and u wanna just flower all at once.. & another thing is , all I have besides my 400 watt is a 125 watt hydrofarm cfl grow light .. How many mothers if any could I keep alive under that .. & could possibly root clones under that too, and all I have is superthrive , can I substitute that for clone ex or no ?? & I figure if I do have clones (assuming I can clone successfully) I won't mind pulling a little less than an oz.. Not too much less tho, because of the fact I'll have more clones coming in to flower..& I just put my homeboy on to demonized seeds .. He an old school rasta type so he skeptical of all this , he still doesn't fully understand the concept if feminzed seeds and sencimillia bud.. He still sees it as "greens" & "high-grade" but he's learning , but anyway the point is I convinced him to order too so he has a bunch of beans coming in about a week and I'll be able to clone those as much as I want so getting more seeds or clones won't be a prob

What kinda soil you got those plants in? How long has it been since they popped out from the soil top? Indicas are usually shorter. Are you making your water ph from 6.2 to 6.8? Are you using nutes? I'm assuming you got good air flow. 3 plants for 1 x 400 watt + mylar against the 4 walls sounds good. 400 watts of what? Hps or Hid? Nice soil pots btw. post more pics, we all love pics

Yea, I kno my plants are lookin a little hurt, I'm not in denial .. I think I started feeding them too early and nute burned em, I fed em fox farm big bloom , grow big , & cal mag on march 18... I had a gallon of water, I mixed I tablespoon of grow big, 4 tablespoons of big bloom & 1 tablespoon of cal-mag... The worst part is when they got burned I couldn't figure out if it was the light or the nutes . So I raised the light & feed again a week later smh.. But when the plant got burned again , I realized it was the nutrients.. & being that I got the Cheep bulb, $15 bucks but only 33,000 lumens not the 50,000 like the expensive ones are so I don't think it's the light , plus I have a thermometer on the canopy & it never goes above 81 degrees, but usually is around 78-79 degrees with light on .. Because it's still cold outside where I live & I keep the window open, but this Is with my heat on. I gotta keep my self warm lol

how many really depends on how you grow...I have probably 20 different plants of at least 5 different types...I get bored easy so...I like to try new things...but I have 2 tomato plants that if I took them out and straightened them out they would probably be 7 feet tall...around every pot there is a tomato branch...they grew much more than I thought they would...but in not too much longer now I will have my own tomatoes...and it doesn't seem to hurt anything...turns out MJ prefers to be ignored...my plants look better than ever because I now have too much to do to end up doing too much...I need to feed and water the catnip, or strawberries, or tomatoes...or whatever so the Mj just has to wait, and the plants freaking love it! THEY LOVE IT!!!so stick them in the back of the or whatever and annoy them and then get you some catnip and tomatoes and everything you hear on here and want to try...try it on those plants first...your MJ will thank you for those days spent dry, they will thank you for not fertilizing them everytime they get a spot, like us newer people tend to do...we love them to death...so get a shit load of veggies and such you want to try to grow and plant those as well...then spend more time on the other things...but the amount of plants in veg is limitless almost...way more than you would think...I stack small pots on top of bigger spots and all the plants have to grow around the jumble...but again...they dont' mind at all...anyway...in flower it is another story...I like a larger plant so I can only fit like 3 or 4 in the flower tent of the same size...so what I want to do is keep mother plants in the veg tent and take clones straight to flower after they are rooted...but right now my veg tent is so heinous I don't know what is in there...
