pretty smal to be starting to force flowering... your gunna end up with MAYBE about 7grams dry from each one.....
my advise go back to veg. keep in veg for a month or at least untill the node's stagger. put you lights as close as possible. get a fan blowin on em, air circulation is very important. your tryin to go way too fast. my autoflowers don't even show sex untill there on there fifth or sixth set of true leaves.

Yeah, I missed that you are flowering. I know a lot of people claim to do OK going right to 12/12, but I think if they're really not ready to flower yet, you're just depriving them of 6 hours of light each day during an important grow stage.

the thing with cfls, that are not specificaly used for plant growth, is that they tend to make your plants stretch and the buds are a little less dense, when flowering, your plant will continue to grow, but most energy will be used to make the buds. right now your best to stay on an 18/6 light schedule. if you don't want your plants to be tall simply top them when you start your flowering cycle or a week before, you should not top once budding starts. you can also look into lsting (low stress training) or scroging your lil guys, this will definatly maximize space. once you start your flowering your locking in your yield, you could revert back to veg after flowering, but you can run the rist of light shock which can, but rarely leads to herming out plants.
there are people who use the "no mercy" method of growing, do a forum search on this to see people who grow 12/12 all the way through

size dosen't matter really, you can have a 8inch plant with five nodes and a 4inch plant with seven nodes.... the seven node plant is more "ready" than the 8inch one. when flowering and asking questions about flowering, knowing what strain you have helps.... it varies, as said before you can flower when ever you want. too early and you may just waste your whole grow.... a.k.a. the cost exceeds the end result. if the pics in your avatar are what your asking about, in my opinion you are definatly closer to flowering than the forum starter. some plants will preflower on an 18/6 schedule, not bud, just preflower. it's hard to say not knowing what your working with.... at least for me.
