Unhappy Uh Oh yellow spots!!!
Ok so my plant is about 2 weeks old now and was looking good and healthy.... today I checked on her and found some yellow spots on leaf (picture #2) Does anyone know whats causing this....Ive got plenty of light for it.....I kinda backed off on watering cuz i was afraid of overwatering.....should I not have backed off??? Do I need to transplant it to a bigger pot?? Right now its in a 16oz cup and I can see the roots all over the bottom of it...
Does it need nutes already?? Please help this is my first attempt...and im learning so i need problem solving for future reference....

thank you

def transplant into bigger pots. whats the temp in there? how close are the lights? could be radiant heat or nute burn (the pic is a little blurry) but being rootbound wont help sp transplant first then go from there

no nutes. the lower leafs tell you about root health and in this case the roots are out of room and resources. transplant or water more often.

right DFC .... another thing whats ur light schedule ??? 24/0 ?? i had mine on 24/0 for 3 weeks then switched to 18/6 ,, the nights get cold & cause the leafs to point up while in dark mode ,, i think its from teh cold ,, but when the lights came on the leave were pointing up & touching teh bulbs causing a few burns here & there , so now i have to adjust accordingly to keep from anymore burns

I have them on 24/0 i had 6 26 watt cfls and just got 2 40 watt cfls goin on em now the 6 26 watts are at the top of the rubbermaid grow box and the 2 40 watts are on lamps about 3 inches from plant.....is that tooo much??? I thought the more light the better especiallly with cfl's?? but i dont wanna burn them.....they arent touching and never have....im gonna flush with water and transplant tonight asap. and i think itd be TOO cold to do the 18/6 thing....not sure though cuz its winter here in indiana and in the closet might get cold with no light on.

Add enough pearlite so you got about 30% of the mix is pearlite. If you have some mycorrhaize add 1 teaspoon in the bottom of the hole when you transplant.

Don't water on the stem but rather away from the main stem.

Good luck
