im trying to flower a couple of clones 1 blueberry and 1 green crack im using 2 23w 2700k cfls on a y splitter. per girl ill try and lst tomorrow since i have limited space and im scared they will stretch and touch the lights. im using cns17 for nutes npk 3-1-2, when do i need to start adding flowering nutes? and what kind of yield should i expect, here are a few pics for you guys to critic ill try to keep updating i really dont want to screw this up. i also fixed the light leaks on the boxes before i flipped the switch on them.
how far away are the lights from the plants? they look a bit stretched.
Want to tell someone they should do a search on the site/research more while you dont bother to address the question or provide links? please remember this- "some people learn better through interaction and discussion than studying on their own, like kids who do better in school with a tutor to interact and discuss what they are trying to learn. we dont all learn the same way." and then hit the back button. Thank you.
this is only day 1 of flowering, my veg cabinet is way over stocked, i think the light was about 6 inches from her when she was vegging im trying to keep it hella close to her for flowering. im going to try for an inch from her at all times since i have area to work in, noobie mistake on my part plus im super broke. im hoping that lst'ing her will help a bit.
its crazy to think i vegged both plants under the same light but the blueberry stretched and was closer to the light but the green crack was farther away and has hella nodes on her. i cant wait untill i can start to see buds forming and growing.
should of kept lighting 1-2 inches during veg or as close as possible if heats a problem, anything over 3 inches wastes the vast majority of the light from little cfl bulbs and it would be best to figure out a way to get the heat down enough to get them that close.

011112171206.jpg011112171236.jpgwell im on day 3 finally got to the lsting the girls. and have the light about a half an inch to 3/4 of an inch from the leafs dont want the girlies to burn. im wondering when ill get my first hairs and signs of buds ive read it can take anywhere from a week to two weeks to start seeing whats really going on, also i start to cut the veg nutes and start the flower nutes on week 2 right?
also i understand that im not going to be packing alot of weight on this pinner cfl grow i have i just want to get this grow under my belt so i know what to expect from the moms with a ton more light. just want to experiment with the nute schedule root mass and all that. hell if i can get an 1/8 from each ill be happy as hell but ill guess a few grams dry between the ladies.
i go from veg to flower after the stretch phase of flowering. normally about 2-3 weeks from the beginning of flowering.(note-flowering, not the beginning of 12/12)

If you use more smaller cfls, you can put them closer to the plant. Put some mylar above the light on the top. you might not have enough floor space for that plant.
well i just starting seeing hairs yesterday when the girls woke up i watered and fed them some more veg nutes, checked on them today even more hairs popping up and noticing alot of fresh new growth. so when do i start the flowering clock? so i can start the count down
