Hi
Rivers,
...i am under the impression that H2O2 will kill much of the bacteria. All of bacteria? I have no idea, but i do know that growers use it for pest control (spider mites).
...hydro growers regard it as essential and it can be used with every watering for a soil grow if used in very small concentrations 1 tsp per gallon.
I'm doing an organic grow (organic soil and nutes) and H2O2 is known to kill many of the beneficial soil bacteria, so i'm not using it now. I did use H2O2 laced water (very weak levels) for my germination and the beans popped in 18hrs. How long without H2O2? Who knows...
hope this helps...
