    Default leaflet count and maturity?

The oldest plant (the sole survivor of a few i started early fall (ish?), is now putting out 7 leaflets. She(i hope) started with 5 right after I topped 'er at 4th pair.

Is leaflet count of any value wrt maturity of the plant? Asymmetry started after topping.

This one looks really girlie to me--the doofus who raised two boys this summer. Was started with natural light, then moved in/out as days/temps waned, now I have lights, (and a newer crop). Anyhoo, this one is going to the "bloom room" tonight. Maybe a harvest near Groundhog's day...something better than pollenballs i hope-eff yeah i smoked them boys.

hypothetically for a friend i ask.

    o i c, going to be a quiz eh?

i'm not looking for any 8's. one of me boys made 9 fingers this summer.

yes, i get that they increase in pairs, was wondering if that there fact could indeed be evidence of sexual maturity of the plant yo kinda like asymmetry. i read somewhere (non-scholarly) that "5" was the number, but i haven't found any corroboration/discussion of that statement.

Nahhhh. You can have a mature plant with 3. I have heard through the grape vine that the more blades/leaflets, the healthier and happier the plant.

yeah, i'm trying to avoid learning things that have no basis in botany or fact.

i had one go 1,5,7. Seven fingers on third pair-at 75mm tall. must be happy as all hell. but mostly seeing 5'ers at third.
