i'm new too growing , i cant get a seedling to grow it always starts slowly and stops within a couple of days at about 5cms. ive tried different soils and water what else can it be?

ecolight 125watt grow. it has a massive blue spectrum. its the soil though i cant imagine the roots growing through cos theres no air space and when the you water it how does the water go down it just stays on the top

Oh! Well Thats The Problem Right There. You Can Add Some Small Rocks To The Bottom Of The Pot And Also Mix Some Perlite Into The Soil. That Should Get You Started In The Right Direction.
