watered covered with dirt put a Flou light and covered my clay pots with one hole at bottom with soil form wal mart but regular soil mxed with perlite, oh yea covered with plastic wrap, i am not sure about the watering it didnt drain out the bottom but i felt like there was plenty of water the top is kinda cold damp should i just leave it and see what happens? its only been a day or have I done something wrong? did I plant to early?

Hell no man. Sounds like you did it perfectly, actually, so nice job. Keep the soil moist, and that sprout should pop up within the next few days. Think about it- you said you planted it 1 inch deep, right? Do you expect the little thing to grow an inch in a day? Of course not. Give it some time, my friend.

I think the papertowel method is best..You can have multiple sprouts pop up at anytime, then u just pick n choose the strongest. Some say those are the males who make it out fastest but I beg to differ. Guess depends on strain type.

Yea you did good. A bit deeper than I would go, but no worries.
You shouldn't need to water it till after it sprouts and you have to take to plastic off.

18/6 is fine. 24/0 would work fine as well, but there's no real reason to change it to that. they both work. And the plastic wrap is good, though not always necessary. Just make sure to take it off once your baby finally decides to pop its head out.

Ughhhhhhh, you shoulda germinated the seed for about 3 days. Thats how i do mine and i get excellent results. And dont put it no deeper than 1/2' under the ground. But since you put it in dirt early and planted it rather deep, dont exspect to see it for like 3-5 days man. If it is moist now then you shouldnt have to water until you can see the plant shoot out the ground. The problem with most newbs is they use wayyyyy too much water. Too much of a good thing can be bad, so just sit down and grab your fav porno, a towel, a bowl of cheeto's, 2 liter of pepsi, 1/2 ounce of weed, some papers, a few slim jims, some pizza rolls, a handfull of oatmeal cream pies, a case of beer, a pack of smokes, a bag of doughnuts, box of jellyfilled doughnuts, a bowl of cookie dough ice cream, a fork and spoon, some tabs, and now just chill. Dont bug the shit out of your plant.
