whats the best way to talk about your plants. friends of mine call them tomatoes. any suggestions

the best way to talk about them is to not!

You dont really need any lingo, just know what you want before you go in.

I never quite know how to refer to them. We only have one hydro shop around here, but I either dance around the mention of the type of plants altogether, or just call them tobacco, as if I were in a head shop. If anything, you'd get a smile or two.

Agreed make sure you know what you want. Try not to just go in for fun to see what they have, call ahead if your unsure they have what you want.

Most hydro shops Just give customers that are asking or hinting to a marijuana subject a Blank stare as if to say "Duh"! I know the folks at my local shops just play "deaf" to any weed growin' questions. Tomatoes are a good Name because they both grow straight up, have side branching, produce a "flower" and fruit (nuggs). They really don't need to know what specific plant you're growing except for: Indoor/outdoor, soil/hydroponic, organic/juiced up, seedling, vegatative, flowering, etc. And if you're a regular customer, over time they'll know. But its just business to them. They just want to sell it to you, and help you to be successful in alll your growing. Ain't that nice? Peace

dude... its a hydroponic shop... 90% of the customers are probebly growing miracle weed

I remember my frist time in a hydro shop... they already knew what was up when i asked for an HPS bulb. and told them im growing 6 plants

The shop I go to is 100% cool with it, they all blaze the refer, I gave the guy a sample of my first harvest, and said thanks bro. they even do a thing were the more you buy the more discount you get each time, and when they fill info out they just ask for a fake name. its sweet. timmy j
