no changing light cycle wont hurt the plant after topping it

I FIMed mine right when I changed my cycle and it didnt stress or anything. Stunts the growth a little bit, but thats to be expected. I dont know if there is any real risk though.

wouldn't it make more sense leaving it in veg for a few days just to let it heal switching them to flower and letting heal at the same time would add stress. im sure you know more just trying to put my 2 sense in lol

YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE IT 2 WEEKS PRIOIR TO A LIGHT CHANGE!!

if you doi it now and then go to 12/12 its way to risky,,it can stress plant and cause hermie in begining of flower(seen it happen straght from 24 to 12/12 also)..

try to always go from 24,-18-,12/12 ...............Its alot safer everything I just told you(and all you need to do is pinch the verry last part of top growing tip(real carefull with scicorrs).

DONT CHOP OFF THE TOP OF PLANT ITS STUPID!!!(and not necessery to send hormones down to lower growing shoots)

So judging by the replys I still don't know what i should do . maybe just tie it down ? would that be safer ? or pinching it ? I really don't want this thing to get 2' before i switch as i don't need a 6 foot plant . That would cause light issues .
