i've been tying to foliar feed using a spray bottle and a very dilluted liquid nute mix. after about a week of doing this i am noticing white spotting on the fan leaves.

is this normal? or am i doing something wrong? looking for advice.

i am using a cfl lighting setup and my plants are about 4 days into flower.'

how can i get these spots off? i have stopped foliar feeding with the diluted nute/water i was using and have also lowered my nutes in the daily watering.

You're burning the leaves, this is either through the concentrations of the nutes being too high or because the leaves are being boiled beneath the lights.

Foliar feed just after lights out, give the plants plenty of time before the lights come back on.

They look like hard water stains....are u misting with hard water?

i was misting with store-bought drinking water with a very diluted liquid nutrient mix. i have since stopped all misting.

that just started happening to me this morning, but it only happend after i sprayed the leaves with a bottle of dulluted nutes. so i think its the nutes on the leaves becuase it never happend with the bottle water i use.

it is some sort of residue that is left from evaporation

so its ok then?

You don't need to spray your plants with a nutrient solution.
