i dont understand how a ventilation system works and how to use a carbon filter can anyone explain it to me and show me some pics it wil be appreciated

If you have a coolshade light then remember to always blow the cold air through the light and not suck.

Best to have a fresh air feed vent, go for a 8-10cm 240v computer cooling fan ( $2 on ebay ), at the bottom of the grow room.

wt if all the plants are in a room dedicated to them how do i filter the air so the smell doesnt go outside

the carbon filter is placed in the grow room along with lights etc, the air is then expelled outside through a vent hole after any odours have been removed.

oo so the air will circulate through the room then go through the 'odour remover' then leave through wall vents or whatever ok thanks alot thats put my mind at rest now as im renting a flat especially to do this and i can now grow in all the rooms

I dont understand what a CoolTube does exactly.

cooltube is the name of the type of light -it is air cooled by the in line fan for super cool growing conditions.

basically the bulb is in a glass tube which has a vent hole in each end so air can be blown through it, cooling the bulb and glass.

I plan on using a cooltube with air drawn from outside via an old dryer exhaust. Do you think with a large enough inline fan sucking air in and shooting it through the cooltube I can make a y connection and shoot some just ponto the canopy of the garden for fresh co2??
