1300 Reasons you shouldn't buy a supercloset

I really don't care what any one does with their money, its their choice how they grow weed and how much money they spend to do it... I am making this thread to help any one who is looking into purchasing a supercloset make a smart decision and get better equipment and yields for less money. The price to performance ratio of the system i am going to review is horrible, if you were to take the $1600 it cost to purchase this unit and figure up how many months it would take to pay for its self you would be sadly disappointed. Don't believe there sales pitches and gimmicks, superclosets are garbage for the money they cost and to prove my point I'm going to put together a list of what it would take to build one, and a list of what you could get if you spent your money wisely. Don't get me wrong here I'm not a profit Nazi i don't have a problem with people making bank off of there hard work but these guys sell absolute shit for the price they charge.

Super Closet

I am using this system as my example because it is one of the most ridicules of all of the systems they offer, not just in price but in design & performance as well. There are a number of reasons that this system is designed poorly the first and second are the lighting and grow space, as best i can tell it looks like there is about 3 feet of vertical growing room in there. As we all know light diminishes very rapidly over distance if you take a look at this chart you will notice that the plants at the bottom would get virtually no light...
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...HPSDoneNow.jpg For this reason any one growing with a set up like this would want to scrog at about 1 foot to get the best results, so your 5 1/2 foot tall grow cabinet is only actually useful for about 2 square feet of growing space. The third problem i have with this system is the ventilation, i would consider using this for a CFL grow room but for any thing more its a fire hazard and a liability of your plants. There are many times during your grow when you will need to adjust your ventilation, for example when the temperature rises in the summer, or when the humidity gets to high and mold is a risk, in those times when you most need it your ventilation wont be there... The fourth and final problem i have with these systems is the price to performance ratio, this unit cost $1600 and would produce roughly 75-150 grams every 2 months depending on the growers skill level. If you purchased the items i have listed you could build 3.75 grow cabs that would yield you in the range of 600-1200 grams every 2 months depending on the growers skill level.

Gimmicks: Here are just a few of the bull shit claims they use to sell there products.

Fully automated claim
This company throws around the term fully automated like they don't just give you a timer and call it fully automated, i don't see any thing in this system to suggest that it is fully automated... It doesn't test or adjust PH, it doesn't test TDS and augment the nutrient solution, it also doesn't adjust the ventilation based on humidity/temperature... So i guess their definition of fully automated is turning a light on and off and an air pump running constantly...

I guess I'm supposed to believe that this is going to stop FLIR from detecting my grow eh? This is as useless as tits on a bull i doubt a FLIR camera would see this thing outside in the dead of winter.

Superponics
Okay so they add a drip system to the DWC system and we are supposed to believe this increase the machines efficiency by 50%...

Its all bull shit and and its all bad for ya, now on to the show...

Okay so we have our grand totals $324 for the cheapest possible pricing and $379 at the most expensive possible pricing, so for the price we pay for one unit we could build 5 1/3 units excluding tool cost or we could do the right thing for our plants and build a real fucking grow cab.

Building a real fucking grow cab

So lets just say for a moment that the reason you are considering a super closet is because you are not very handy or you do not want to modify your house. Well with the money you were going to spend on a supercloset you could build a grow system that would pay for its self several times over in one grow and still not have to modify your dwelling or build any thing. I did leave a few things out of this list because i did not feel they should be included after all we are talking about a grow cab here not every thing you need to grow. The reason this company is so big is not because they are good at what they do, its not because they make a quality product either, its because they are good at ripping people off...

The moderators deleted his thread because of his excessive use of profanity, the fact that he had multiple user names active, and was obviously being compensated to trash talk this company. He went so far as to pretend to be someone else, created a slanderous youtube page, uploaded all of supercloset's promo videos to it, and then linked it all back to his own thread on Grasscity. I found out because he spammed my video on youtube. He is definitely being paid to speak out against this company.

he advocated making your own DIY system, so it doesn't seem like hes promoting a competitor's product, therefore doubtful at this point that he is a 'paid basher'

I've seen that locker and lmao because, yeah, I'm sure even a child could grow weed in that thing. Only someone who's too lazy to read would waste $1600 on something you could build for $100 bucks and an old locker from the junk yard.

Funny thing is that he is not even a customer! He admittedly has never even owned one and never even seen one in person. I wish you could have seen the other thread....it was straight crazy.
I don't need you to trust me. I have my vid....I obviously have a supercloset and I have obviously grown in it and it obviously worked really well....
I only came over here to warn folks about him because of what he did over there. I don't give two squirts what you think about SuperCloset. DIY, tent set, whatever...as long as everyone is getting irie and enjoying the hobby.
For the record though...I friggin' love mine. :0)

why even bother with a damn tent? Just get mylar, staple it to the ceiling and drape it to the ground, do that a few times and you got a space to grow in
