    how do i make an effective hydro system with these boundries

    You start over and make a grow space with some realistic dimensions.

    Hydro, IMO, would be [next to] impossible with only 18" of height; soil is workable with 18 inches, but better brush up on the LST method...

    Low Stress Training - Search LST and you will find all the info you need. And 18inches is a bit small dude.

    You can't grow in 18 inches. If you really want to grow your own weed, you need to find a better place to grow.
