I had three seeds sprout about 2 or 3 days ago. the seed casing is still on all three sprouts. i thought they fell off after they sprouted. should i take them off myself carefully?

They'll come off when the cotyl's are ready to open up.

Ive trashed a few plants trying to "help" a seedling shake its shell.

You CAN remove it...but it'll happen on its own.
