Week 10 flowering pics ( Ready to harvest ???? )

Day : 112 ( total)
Flowering week : 10th
Strain : Top 44 Indica
Grow Method :soil
Lighting : 400 watt High Pressure Sodium lamp

Hows it going all ? Red hairs coming in nicely , id say about 50 percent. I have also started the 2 week flush . Its 4 weeks over the expected harvest date which was 6 weeks flowering ( top 44). I know i could let it go a week more , but i have made a bunch of beginner mistakes along the way such as fert burn in veggitation , not enough watering , and bad soil mix. Basically i want to harvest this single plant and start my new grow as soon as possible. Persoanly i think the plant could be harvested , with crystals everywhere and red hairs visible. I have included a couple pics and am woundering if i could harvest this plant , check the pics out and give me your personal opinion.

In the next week. Give it a few more days then chop and start curing with whatever method you use. Theres a few guides on here that are very good so just pick one and use it. Just chop and hang for 3 days upside down then do whatever.
But wait to smoke at least 2 weeks.. unless you want to taste lawn clippings and get a soar throat! ahaha Personally I think that most of your hairs still look mostly white so another week either way wouldn't hurt. The trics and hairs will still be white enough to give you that great uppity head buzz.
Looks like youll be gettin baked in no time.

Thanks for the info man , yeah gonna give it another 5 days or so then harvest , so even if i have about 50 percent red hair , it will still be a good quality bud though right ? cuase it smells beautiful , tons of crystals and alot of redhairs .
so after hanging for 3 - 5 days i can bag it up , but i should wait longer than that to smoke it ?

i think you can get more bud in another week or better yet two..your hairs arent even really amberish color..but either way the shit looks great..keep growin strong broham!!

Yah I agree with badboy. Leave em up theres another good week and a half in em. You harvest now then youll just have a head high that won't last as long, but will be intense.. Id wait, well thats why the pros say wait till 75% have turned brown then you get the head and some nice couch lock body stone.
They do look nice though. Looks hairy like my ballsack.

Ohhh i forgot the other question:
so after hanging for 3 - 5 days i can bag it up , but i should wait longer than that to smoke it ?

Leave em upside down on a string in a moist free dark cupboard or closet.
3days - 4
Then Move the buds into a tupperware or jar (mason jars are the shit) and let em sit there in the dark
in those jars for 3 weeks at least. You can sample in 2 weeks but the smoke will be slightly harsh
still. 3 weeks or even a month of curing or more makes really nice buds with a smoother smoke.
3-5 weeks is perfect though.
Just open the mason jar like once a day for a few mins to circulate the stale air out of it and maybe so you can add
a few drops of water in the jar if you need to to keep the girls moist. Leaving it open for even an hour or
2 is okay. Just whatever you feel like. Sometimes I even forget to close the lid and the buds still cure good.
The water that you add to keep em moist you can even lace with citrus or whatever flavor you wish so
your buds get that oomph from it. Hell you could bottle up some of your girlfriend and make twat flavored buds.
bwhahaha. Uhm but yah thats it.. theres several curing guides on here.. maybe ill write one someday with
some humor in it. But thats it! Good luck with the harvest!

Yo man ur my fucking guardian angel LOL , See as you can tell this is my first grow. My dumb ass thought all you had too do is clip it and let it hang till dry , lol but im glad i learned bout this curing phase . See getting into this grow the guy i got my seeds from told me this TOP44 strain would be ready to smoke in 12 weeks , hahaha dude is talkin out the side of his fucking neck . Its been 113 days , like 16 weeks , and now i gotta bump another 3 for curing on there. I guess his so called 12 weeks is more like 20 . But whatever ive learned alot by just fucking up so i know next round will be alot better !!!! I have a 400 watt HPS that i used for flowering and vegging , but am planning on buy a 40 - 50 dollar shop lamp for vegging and the 400 wat for flowering. Am going to add a flowering room . 1 for vegging which would be open to the area , and having my 400 watt hps for flowering in a sealed off area . I will be only having 2 plants flowering at all times , and have my clones and vegging plants in the other area , so would you think a 50 dollar shop lamp would cut it for a 2 vegging plants and maybe 5-6 clones ?

how many watts..what kind of light(HPS,CFL,etc.).and your looking for something more on the blue side of the spectrum with vegging,and something with a good amount of lumens

No Problem, I was bored and stoned lol. yah i sneaked and had a bud from a recent harvest that cured for 1 week.. man it was gross. I got high though aahhaha. There was a world of difference after 2 more weeks though. It looked and smelled like bud should =p
