a plant that is both sexes may look female but has some male staminate flowers that can release pollen and seed your bud. i have had a couple before i just picked off the tiny male parts as they appeared the bud grew nice and remained unseeded

Wow you got lucky. I had a hermy and tried that and when I would cut the balls off 2 days later I had to cut off twice as many. Then when I cut those I had to cut off twice as many. Just a beating, throw it out and start over.

You a re more likely to get hermies out of a fem seed than a regular sex undetermined seed.

It is usually grower error but if you are using bagseed it might just be shitty genetics.
