How Much Yield To Expect

Hey everyone!
I was just going to inquire as to how much yield I should expect from my first grow.
I am going to be growing:

1x White Widow
1x BC Blueberry Bud
1x BC Early Blueberry Bud
1x Afghan Kush
1x Blackberry

Out of these five plants, how much should I be harvesting by the end if they veg for 8 weeks do you think?

Oh Shit, also, I am using a bubbleponics system with 2 dual spectrum lights. If that makes a difference. Indoor. :P

No one will be able to tell you. Too many factors involved.

And you are leaving out way too much info for anyone to even make a guess.

Nutes? Light wattage? Type of lights?

If you have a smooth grow, you should be able to pull around a QP per plant,(dried) under a 600 watt HPS, or bigger. I don't recommend going any smaller than a 600, for that many plants. 4 will fit under a 400, but 5 is a bit too much, IMO, if they're vegged for that long.

But, being that you're just getting started, you should be happy if you pull half that, because it's likely you'll run into problems. VERY few growers have smooth sailing, til they get a couple grows under their belt, so don't get discouraged if you have problems, 'cause we all started out that way. All the reading in the world, can't totally prepare you, til you actually get out there and try it for yourself. My advice, is to find someone's grow journal that is similar to your setup, and mimic it. Also,...don't get overambitious, and think that if you give your's a little more fert, for example, that they'll grow faster. It's tempting, I know, I've been there, lol but feeding is a quite precise process, and giving them any more than they can process, is harmful, and should be avoided. If you want faster growth, go bigger with the lights, 'cause THAT'S the key, not the ferts. Don't skimp on the lighting, is some of the best advice I can give ya, if you're concerned with yield. Best of luck to ya, I hope all goes well. :)

I grew my first time hydroponically with no problems what so ever. Just follow the nutrient schedule. Nothing first week to two weeks then 1/4 the scheduled dose for 2 weeks. Follow that and you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for the replies everyone! :D
That's awesome, I wasn't expecting a quarter pound per plant! That's insane. I am so stoked for this! God damn, I need the Canada Post Strike to end!

I will be posting a journal when I get the stuff all set up and ready to go. I was just looking for a general yield if that exists. xD For five plants being grown in a bubbleponics system, two dual spectrum lights overhead, hydroton grow rocks, rockwool cubes to start them in, and big bud nutrients.

Not trying to discourage u or anything, but u prob won't get a qp per plant. U will be VERY lucky if u even get half that, considering its a first grow. Good luck and keep posting ur progress

I'm a new grower too and I was going to use the same bubbleponics system you are but went with dirt instead for my first grow. I did a lot of research and the lights that come with the bubbleponics starter kit aren't enough. The bigger you grow area the more light you need per square foot.I havea 3x 3 SF area and am using 6 85 watt cfl's 3 6500 Kelvin and 3 2700 Kelvin. This is what I learned would be the minimum for my grow area based on size and I'm only growing two plants at a time due to space issues. Let me know how you rgrow is going and I'll keep you posted on mine.

Ahh, this is really good to know! Thanks for the info everyone. I will invest in a couple more lights then. What should I get do you think? I mean, relatively low budget right now, so I am thinking only a couple more CFLs.
I will keep you posted for sure BullWinkle! :D

And yes, it is the SH Bubbleponics system.

QP? Are you insane? He's growing indoors. MB a couple z's per plant in optimum conditions.

He said he was going to veg for 8 weeks, and if he does a little LST or some form of training(he has lots of time to read, after all  ), 100 grams per plant,(a QP is 116) is totally do-able, if he has a smooth grow, with no real problems. If he goes with a 1000 HPS, it's even more likely. I average that, with a 600, in soil, 6-7 weeks veg. But, like I said, he should be happy if he pulls half that, which would be a respectable yield. IMO, his bet bet, is to copy someone who has their shit together, as closely as possible, and go from there, because I agree...the odds of having a trouble-free grow, your first time, aren't very good.

Honestly, I will be happy if I get 200 grams out of all 5 plants for my first grow. ( I am thinking I will probably grow 3 and then 2 though ).

I remember how ambitious I was on my first indoor grow.

If you want 200 grams, you'll need a hell of a lot more lights.

^I agree, now that I notice the setup he's using. That SH setup isn't designed for an 8-week veg period, more like 3-6, depending on how many slots you fill, and how fast they grow. His idea doesn't sound too far off though, if he's only expecting 100 grams per harvest, times 2.

How many watt are your bulbs? You can expect about 1/2 gram per watt, per harvest, if your plants are healthy, and your lights are setup properly. If you wanna boost things, and are on a tight bidget, grab a bunch of 23/26 watt CFLs and throw them in there, the more the merrier, illuminating the areas closer to the edges, where the main lights won't penetrate.

it all depends on the size of your plants and if you get them to reach their full potential. Since it's your first grow you can count on some things going wrong. Just keep your focus on keeping your plants healthy and green. This way you will get the largest yield possible for your set up. Good luck! Respect
