Default Sound advice please
I was really into starting every thing up with my grow about 3 months ago but money problems did not permit me to complete set up. I have some kush and buddha seeds that I'm dying to start. I made my own rig of CFL's to start the plants. 8 23 watt cfls and two 42 watt cfls. I was originally thinking of going with a bubbleponics system but decided for my first grow to start with soil instead. I am working with a cabinet that is 4 feet wide, 2 foot in depth, and 5 feet tall (It will be completely assembled tommorrow when I go get the wood for the walls). I also have some reflective materials and fans. I guess my question is, in the opinions of you guys, should I wait until I have more of the supplies I need I.E. an hps light, and carbon scrubber. I only planned on flowering with the hps anyways. I planned on buying the lights and carbon scrubber in about a month, is this enough time to be able to run on the cfl's?

You can veg them under the cfls for at least a month or more. Good luck.

I would start now and get the other stuff when you need it. You will be fine. I have an hps and still start under cfl's. Good Luck!!

Go for it! It will force you to get the other stuff sooner than later. I started with just a grow side and it kicked me into gear on getting my bloom side up an running.
