When placed in water, should viable seeds sink or float? I've heard both, and want to know what you guys have to say from experience.

they should sink within 24 hours. sometimes stirring them will help them sink. when they sink, they are ready to be germinated in a warm dark place. however some wont sink. these seeds are not necessarily bad, they just have a worse ratio of sucsessfull sprouting.
