Nice pipes. I still prefer glass tho. Hows the taste in those pipes? A metal pipe I have tastes harsh and smokes real hot... dont really care for it.

yeah, i thought about it and started thinking. metal transfers heat very good. so my question is, what's it like when you put the lighter to it and light the pot? does it get warm after a few hits and the bowl is rolling? also, is there an overwhelming taste of the metal?

I don't know what kind of metal you guys are smoking from but brass doesn't let off some kinda fumes when heat is applied and our pipes aren't coated with some kinda oil when they leave here. If brass gave a taste, that means it's giving off fumes when heated. Impossible. I dare you to take a solid piece of brass, clean all residue off it with denatured alcohol and then heat it to red hot with a torch. Check to see if fumes are comming off it....none. Smell it. None. Myth busted.....These pipes don't transfer heat too much because they are BIG and SOLID. Never burns my little hands and I'm a girl. Even when passing with 5 or more people. You can drop it too and it won't break. It will also be here for the rest of your life or 10,000 years, whichever comes first. They'll have some historian lookin' at it in a thousand years goin' "this is a great artifact!" but he'll be looking at glass shards goin' "vat iz dis?" Deh ya go.....

the metal pipe i have teastes fine, but it does get heated up quite fast

then again when i use my torch i can heat my glass to enough to burn me

Yea, its probably cause my metal pipe is a cheap one, its definatly not brass, picked it up for 10$ off some street vendor. The cool thing is it unscrews and reassembles to look like a mini flashlight, which is kinda cool- tastes funny and burns away my weed real quick tho, I only use it when i dont have papers or my bong.

I also prefer glass for my grass, but if smoking from metal I definitley use brass.
