Marijuana is a survivor!! AK47 CFL grow
Today as I screamed for joy again , getting ready for my first harvest, I stopped to think about how amazingly strong the marijuana plant is and the hell that my girl has been through to get to this point.
I'm sure this isn't new information for you, but I'd like to just expand on the issue of how strong of a fighter this plant really is!!
Let me break it down for you! Maybe I can give others hope!
I started my first grow ever with 4 feminized AK47 seeds supposedly straight from amsterdam. Only two of them germinated, and out of the two only one survived past week one.
She was started in Miracle Gro Soil, quickly Nuteburned. She was overwatered in the beginning and wilted heavily. The light fell on her, TWICE, burning off leaves and left her looking horribly sad. The temperature was too hot in the beginning and the humidity level was way too dry. The PH levels were off with the nutrients because Tiger Bloom requires a ph balancer. She was stunted growth, looked like a dwarf for about a month and a half before she started growing upwards at all. Not to mention this is a CFL grow only pumping out around 180-200w of CFLs.
With all these things in mind you will say to yourself my gosh those are everyones noobie mistakes, the plant most likely is suffering!!!
Well, 4 months and a bunch of stress later, here she is today! She's got a couple weeks left before harvest, I'm going to start the water flush very soon. Bought the microscope from Radio Shack today, her trichs are still clear , maybe a lil cloudy I saw, but I want to wait until they are mixed cloudy/amber.
By no means at all am I bragging or saying this plant couldn't have looked nicer with better care, cuz we all have seen better shit of course, I am just trying to express my amazement with the strong nature and survivability of the marijuana plant! It's such a nice feeling considering a month in my head was saying "just see what happens, just try to get ANYTHING".
And now, less mumble jumble. Here's the AK:

In conclusion I have fell in love with this hobby and I'm utterly thankful for marijuana's forgiveness! Thank you god for this wonderful gift!
I can't wait to start my next grow and chose which strain I get next!
Thanks for looking guys, appreciate it.
