You could have always said "no thanks" and not bought it.... $10 a G is pretty standard lately, especially with dank...

I always use to take what I got but buying weed just feels dangerous now. People have guns and most of the time you can't say nothing if you get shorted. Like buying an oz of weed sounds so dangerous now.

honestly everyone thinks this is strange but I like to smoke by myself. Its like I can only enjoy it with like one other person and even then I prefer alone. I just like to zone out with my own music and no distraction.

I take that kind of shit back to my dealer. Once I got something similar. Mostly just trim (that if resinous I'd consider rolling up with the buds, but this was just leaf) and stem. So I saved all the trim, and the stem, and took it back to the guy. In a 1/2 oz of bud there was 2.2 grams of useless trim and stem. So I told him he could credit me with an extra gram of highs and we'd call it even.

I live in the Pac Norwest so the competition out here is a little more extreme and we don't go dry often. Mids are practically unheard of. Around here, dealers know that customer service is how they keep their clients, the karma between dealer and client is a lot more balanced than what I hear about in other parts of the US.

I have a problem along these lines too.... I'm not a dealer, but i know one. I used to buy off him. He figured it out one day when he heard I had a tincture. We are friends, so I confided in him.... I have jars of buds, very good quality, some of it cured and stored for 6 months. I have given him hash and sample buds. He loves the product. the problem? He refuses to pay over $800 a qp, even though he was charging me $400 an ounce. I refuse to sell it that cheap, so it sits.... I need money, fast.... I'm so tempted to go back to dealing, but want to avoid the traffic and repeated sales that my buddy thrives on. The only thing i can think of is to hang tight until his guy goes dry occasionally. I hope it happens soon.

I understand his volume discount mentality, but I'm not running a huge grow op. I'm not going to sell it at a price that allows him to double his money, and leaves me on the short end. Am I right or wrong on this?

I live in the NW too, I wouldn't even know how to get mids, only dank smoke in OR and WA unless you go to southern oregon, nothing but mexi brick there. I never have a problem with my guy if I even have to see him, I don't much anymore, but he always does me right, he knows I have other people I'll give my $$ to if he tries to screw me.

fuck no your not wrong on this serapis.. why should you get screwed so he can keep his profit margin?? that is just silly, and for him to think anything less is just plan dumb.. maybe he will run dry soon and will need you more then you need him, at which time the cards will be stacked in your favor..

kind of agree with you but you have to take into account if he is someone you trust and hes not going to blab then you aint gonna be visiting no prison soon. you have to allow the fact that the dealers are taking the risk of being caught and prison time, but he should up the price a little bit if the weeds that nice. he will prosper from clients coming back to him after they have bought nice weed.

I think it is a matter of finding a very trustworthy person and fronting them on the bud at first to build their capital a little. Just stay on them and you make sure they understand that not paying on time means you get a new PS3, and a TV, and a couch... Fronting people is a cornerstone to getting newer dealers with a good group of friends who can move up to a qp a day in the Santa Cruz, CA area.

Once they build some capital, which might not take more than a week, then you're holding all their cash and their moving a good deal of product. Continue to front them a little to keep the away longer and over time you'll be able to dump whatever you want, whenever you want, on them with confidence that you'll have a return on your investment shortly.

That's how "someone I know" did it back in the day when getting into the game, before getting out of the game and growing for himself...

I just moved up here a year ago from California as well. I love it here.

There's actually a fairly large contingent of Oregon growers on here and almost all of us are transplants :)

Yep, my same guy I'm talking about now, quit dealing for 5 months because of his Girlfriend finding religion. He quickly learned that a 9-5 job sucks.... so he is dealing again. In the meantime, I got tired of not being able to find anyone reliable. Hell, his fucking weed isn't even local, it's Fed Ex'ed in twice a week...

A shitty dealer was the last straw that me growing again...
