ideal pot size for SOG

it depends what you do as well, ifyou're just lollipopping a bunch of clones in an aero unit you can pack more into one space obviously

Sure it will handle 40 - until they are about a month old. You have to think about the size they will be when they mature. These things spread out and up; you can't get 20 lbs of plant in a 5 lb box. I've got a 400w with 8 plants; could put 2 more in (had 2 but they were boys) for a total of 10 but that would be about it.

Like i said though, you have to consider whether you're going to go for bushy trees or single cola harvests off of clones

There's a lot of different ways to do things, and you can pack those 40 in there with small pots and good airflow.. but could you just get more weight off of 30 plants that are given a little more room? 20?

I always reccomend watching gardenknowm's seemorebuds video. look how much is packed into that one aero unit! But then see that the yeild was practically the same with less plants and a little more space.

50 watts a square foot is ideal for flowering. Keep this in mind and you should have some solid nuggies, no matter what. Well, not no matter what.

you think 1000 hps is overkill for 13.5 sq. feet? Im planning on some SoG as well, prolly around 30 ladies.. whatdya think?

Sounds good to me. 74 watts a square foot! I try to get it up there too. Just keep 'em cool.

nice 50 watt per sq foot so then a 5x2 sized closet= 10sq ft so a 500 watt lighting set up would get me by?????.........

remember that a 400w hps will cover a 3x3 area (9sq ft)

5 by 2. 10 square feet. 500 watts. I would probably go 10 plants in 3 gallon buckets, flowered around 1 ft. Should finish around 2-2.5 ft, and yield about 1 ounce a plant.

quick ? lets say i clone from my mother about 10 clones and they all make it how many weeks of veggin you think i have so i can pull at least 1 or more ounces per plant????........
